Heather practices acupuncture using an integrated approach that combines

Traditional Oriental Medicine with Five Element Acupuncture. She specialises in

acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, tui-na, cupping and moxibustion. She has a broad

knowledge of Western medicine and treats a wide range of conditions to restore and

preserve physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

She treats both men and women and aims to get to the constitutional root of the

condition to achieve long term health improvements. This approach enables the

body to truly repair and re-balance. She has developed particular interest in the

areas of chronic conditions and emotional health and wellbeing, supporting people to

get their life on track to prevent further illness. She also treats women through the

stages of fertility, pregnancy, labour, post-natal care and menopause. 

Heather has a passion for helping people solve both the effects and the causes of

illness. In her work alongside acupuncture she has 20 years training in meditation

and mindfulness and completed courses in meditation philosophy. The emphasis on

compassion training enables her to create a safe therapeutic environment for her


Heather trained for four years at the internationally renowned College of Integrated

Chinese Medicine in Reading, U.K. She qualified in Traditional Chinese Medicine

BSc (Hons) with a Licentiate of Acupuncture (Lic Ac). Her training also included

biomedical sciences, five-element acupuncture, tui na, gua-sha and qi gong.

She is a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council and is bound by

strict codes of ethics and practice. She is committed to continuing professional
